Shipping & returns

PROCESSING
Pre-shipment processing may take 1-2 business days from the order date (e.g. Monday order ships no later than Wed, Thursday order ships no later than Mon). We do our best to accommodate specific requests for faster processing. Email info@honeycreeperchocolate.com for any immediate needs or overnight delivery and price estimates for that service.

All orders submitted after 7:00 am (Central Time) Wednesday may occasionally be best shipped the following Monday to avoid sitting in warm processing centers over the weekend. 

SHIPMENT & DELIVERY
We ship only within the United States via U.S. Postal Service and FedEx.

Packages may deliver to a mailbox, reception desk, porch, or other location. To ensure best quality and prevent theft please:

  • watch tracking updates
  • make sure packages are retrieved promptly
  • ship to secure/indoor locations when possible

Due to the Alabama heat, from April 1 - November 1 all packages will include cold packs and will ship 2nd day for a flat rate of $20. From Nov 1 to March 30 packages will ship without cold packs but with appropriate packaging to limit any breakage. Packages will ship 2nd day for a flat rate of $12.

RESPONSIBILITY ONCE IN TRANSIT
Once the carrier picks up the shipment, they assume liability for the package, contents, and delivery. The buyer or recipient is responsible for contacting the carrier directly for resolution of any delivery issues. Caputo’s is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, but we’re committed to helping resolve issues however we can.

Once a shipment is marked delivered by the carrier, liability transfers to the recipient. Most shipping services will not approve a claim once tracking confirms delivery. We recommend requiring a signature if issues have previously arisen at the delivery address.
